I have an older MacBook and I would like to download the Quik video editor for desktop. The only problem is that it requires Mac OS 10.10.X or later and I can only run Mac OS 10.9.5. Could someone link me to an older version of Quik that is compatible with my software?

Quik is a new software release. There are older versions of Studio floating around, but your not going to find what you're looking for with Quik. Sorry.
